Crazy Busy Sewing!

I have been so busy sewing this past week. I was in a Holiday event so I wanted to be well prepared. I made 27 snack sacks, 12 double sided receiving blankets, 1 tie blanket, 1 rag quilt, 15 scarves, and 6 ruby dreamer blankets :)

I sold 3 snack sacks, 1 receiving blanket and the tie blanket. Not great but I'm happy to have used up a ton of fabric I've had hanging around and I look forward to heading back to Fabricland soon :)

I'm soon going to have my things in a store called Under the Moon in Strathroy :) go check this amazing store out :)

Ruby Dreamz is going to be at the Run for the Cure!

This year Ruby Dreamz will be at the run for the cure, well at least some of my tu-tu's will be there  :)

I was contacted by a really nice lady looking for 4 tu-tu's for herself and her team, We agreed on a price and I gave them one for free :)

I'm happy to support this cause. :)

Snack Sacks :)

These are perfect for doing your part in cutting down on waste, These are reusable , washable, trendy, cool snack sacks,

The lining is Nylon and the shiny side is facing away from your childs food.

Wash in with your dishes and hang to dry. They will usually dry overnight, I don't recommend putting them in the washer and dryer, the velcro likely won't stand up to that for very long.

Dreamers :)

A friend asked me to make her a mini rag quilt :)  I wasn't really loving the idea until I put it together and this is what I came up with,. I added a ribbon and a link so that the dreamer can be kept closely attatched to the stroller ect.

This little wonder is the perfect comfy cuddly blanket for any baby toddler, I also decided to make a one square dreamer so it can easliy be tucked into your Little Ones hand or pocket :)

This double sided receiving blanket is up for auction ......

This talented Mom makes the most amazing things, things you didn't even know you needed until you see them :) She is celebrating her 1st year in business and I'm participating :)
check this out :)

I know its been a while,

I've been busy with life and haven't really made any quilts since I made these 2 beautiful ones :) I have 3 more twin sized quilts on order so I better get busy. I plan on getting things together over the summer and being on track and ready to have my blankets in some local stores that sell homemade boutique baby items.

If you would like to place an order for a rag quilt I would need a deposit of half the money down and the remainder on completion. The twin sized rag quilts are $125.00, or you can purchase your own material and pay me $65.00 to make the blanket for you :) They take a lot of sewing and time :)
